I have updated my calendar for the rest of 2018 and the beginning of 2019. It takes a bit of time to show up on the website (if I did it right).
I realize that to some it may seem like a lot of down time but I need to get my life back on track. With Steve’s passing, has put me into a whirlwind. I just need to figure out a good routine to accommodate everyday living. Steve made my work life easy. But I’m getting there.
I am busy at the shop, we are up to November 6th for pick-ups. If you need quilts for Christmas, you need to get your tops finished soon.
Here are the dates I’ll be closed:

- August 31, 2018 thru September 5, 2018 – Labor Day
- October 27, 2018 thru November 5, 2018 – Vacation

From the bottom of my heart, Thank you for all the kind words and prayer.
For those who may not know, my sweet husband, Steve, lost his battle with cancer on April 26,2018. My heart is broken, but I know Steve is at peace and in the arms of our Lord. I am surrounded by my loving children, two grandchildren, loving family and friends.
I have reopened the shop and the regular hours now:
Tuesday – Friday 10:00 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday’s by appointment only, closed Sunday and Monday.
I’m grateful for having the opportunity to serve my quilting family. I am a little behind schedule but everyone has been very understanding.
Again, my heartfelt thanks to all.
I just wanted to give everyone an update on the New Hours for the shop. I will be open Tuesday through Friday from: Noon-4:00 pm. If you need a special time/day for drop-offs or pick-ups please call (734) 324-0092 and I will try to make arrangements with you.
My husband, Steve, has been diagnosis with lung cancer and he has had a few complication recently.
So with all that is going on, I need to cut back on the hours. At the moment my turn around time is 4 months. For everyone that has quilts waiting to be completed, I’m on schedule.
I appreciate all the prayers.
We believe that the greatest inspirations come from the heart and there is no better medium to express them with than fabric. Quilts are not only warm and beautiful blankets to be handed down through the generations; they are storybooks, which tell the tales of great love, dedication and compassion that cannot be expressed simply with words. Join us today and find your voice through the beauty of fabric, needle and thread.
